We are letting you in on a little secret: the rabbis of the Talmud saved and changed Judaism! Together, we will explore the lives and teachings of Akiba the Scholar; Elisha Ben Abuyah the Apostate; - the Innovator and Rashi - the Commentator and other illuminates whose work transformed Judaism so that it could survive and thrive in the ‘new worlds’ that Jews found themselves in. Their intuition, insight, sage wisdom and grit led to the survival of the Jewish people in exile. Here is your chance to unravel the secrets behind the survival of the Jewish people with master teacher, Rabbi Ed Farber!

About the Instructor:
 
 
Rabbi Ed Farber serves as Rabbi Emeritus at Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus in North Dade. A graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary, he is a Miami native and has served his entire Rabbinic career in three Miami congregations. Rabbi Farber brings deep scholarship to his teaching coupled with a commitment to tradition and a lively teaching style.
