Course Description :

This course explores key figures who helped shape the way Judaism is practiced and understood today. Through four weekly sessions, we’ll delve into the lives and legacies of influential sages, scholars, and leaders—from the early rabbinic period through the medieval era. Figures such as Shimon HaTzadik, Hillel, Beruriah, Rashi, the Rambam, and others will be examined for their lasting impact on Jewish thought, law, and tradition. Participants will gain insight into how these personalities helped define the Jewish experience across generations.

About the Instructor:
 

Rabbi Dr. Leon Weissberg is the former Director of the Leo Martin March of the Living in Miami-Dade and in Boca Raton. He has a doctorate in Educational Leadership and offers courses at various South Florida universities and schools. Leon has been teaching Melton courses for 35 plus years, developing a fan base and following wherever he goes.
