Course Description :
The goal of the salon is to build a vibrant community of LGBTQ+ Jewish learners who feel connected, informed, and empowered to explore some of the most meaningful and complex questions facing Jewish communities today.
Before each salon, participants will receive a thoughtfully selected article exploring an issue of significance to contemporary Jewish life. Together, we will unpack, discuss, and respectfully engage with the ideas it raises in a welcoming, affirming, and intellectually curious environment for LGBTQ+ Jewish adults.

About the Instructor:
Dr. Bella Tendler Krieger is the director of Adult Learning and Growth at CAJE Miami. She has a PhD in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University, an MBA from the University of Miami, and will receive rabbinical ordination from the Shalom Hartman Institute's Rabbanut North America Program in December 2026. Bella is an academic and entrepreneur, but her greatest passion is teaching!
