Course Description:

Rabbi Kushner was one of the most influential teachers of Judaism of this generation. He was the rare combination of pulpit Rabbi and scholar. In his writings he delved into life’s most challenging questions and brought unique Jewish thought to bear on those questions. We will delve into some of those critical questions Rabbi Kushner examines including: When Bad Things Happen to Good people; When all you’ve ever wanted isn’t enough; Who needs God and others.

About the Instructor:
 
 
Rabbi Ed Farber serves as Rabbi Emeritus at Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus in North Dade. A graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary, he is a Miami native and has served his entire Rabbinic career in three Miami congregations. Rabbi Farber brings deep scholarship to his teaching coupled with a commitment to tradition and a lively teaching style.
